Join Sisterhood

Sisterhood is the organization of the women of our synagogue who join together in friendship. We are women of all ages, bonded by three factors — we are women, we support the tenets of Reform Judaism and we support Temple Beit HaYam. Our programs, activities and donations benefit our congregation and our community. We meet for social and spiritual activities, for study, and above all, for the growth of the individual so that each woman may find an opportunity to fulfill her potential as a woman. Sisterhood provides the arena for us to expand and grow in a Jewish atmosphere. As a member of Sisterhood, we join with others in our temple supporting issues affecting women and families around the world. We are a caring community that strives to put our Jewish ideals into action. As we learn and serve, we share friendship, fun and prayers—and gain a sense of belonging. You determine your own level of participation, from financial support through dues and donations to our special funds through a leadership position.
