 sisterhood1

Sisterhood is an organization of the women within our synagogue who join in friendship. We are women of all ages, bonded by three factors — we are women, we support the tenets of Reform Judaism and we support Temple Beit HaYam. Our programs, activities and fundraising efforts benefit our congregation and our community.

As members of Sisterhood, we join with others in our Temple supporting issues affecting women and families around the world. We are women that strive to put our Jewish ideals into action. We collaborate with other branches of the Temple such as the Social Action Committee to make a difference in our community.

Of course, there is always time for fun and socializing.  We are planning many events just for the sake of spending time together.  The calendar of events below is a reference for good times to come.  Our primary vehicle of communication is through e-mail using Constant Contact.  Please make sure to provide your e-mail address so that we can keep you informed.

You determine your own level of participation. Through your financial support with dues and our fundraising efforts, you can make a difference.  There is also opportunity to become involved through a leadership position.  We offer you a chance to be part of something special and gain a sense of belonging.

We are always available for any questions. Please feel free to express your ideas and suggestions.  Our board meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month in the Lester Family Social Hall at 4:15 p.m.

Please view our 5772 Sisterhood Membership Form for our 2011-2012 Sisterhood Events.
